Cowboy Heaven is a beautiful, three-level home with 2,610 square feet of living space to accommodate 11 guests. This 4 bedroom plus loft, 5 bath mountain home is situated next to a ski trail and comes complete with grand views from the living room’s large picturesque windows. Master Suite has a King bed, gas fireplace, and jetted tub; 2 bedrooms with King beds; 1 master bedroom with a king, 1 bedroom with Queen bed; loft with 1 Queen and a Single.

Cowboy Heaven offers true ski-in/ski-out access to the Natawista Run of Moonlight Basin, Big Sky. Two chairlifts are accessible from the home’s location, including Derringer, and Six Shooter. With several amenities to make your stay as comfortable as can be, and just minutes from shopping and restaurants in Big Sky Mountain Village, this is the perfect home for your mountain retreat.

Big Sky offers terrific skiing in the winter and numerous outdoor activities in the summer, making it the perfect vacation spot for any outdoor enthusiast. It is also just 50 miles north of Yellowstone National Park!!

    First family trip we've taken to Big Sky

    This is the . We had skiers/boarders ranging from beginner to expert. The terrain was fantastic and we lucked out with great weather conditions. The house was as described - literally the slopes were steps from the back deck. Everyone was able to ski/in out with no difficulty despite varying skill level. Hot tub was perfect for post-ski day. Boot dryers were awesome. The kitchen was well stocked with tools etc. We cooked in every night and played board games.     Lovely Week at this Property

    Our 2 families plus grandparents enjoyed a lovely week at this property. The beautiful view was perfect for when the older folks wanted to sit and play cards and skip the rafting and hiking excursions. We loved the hot tub on the deck with a view and can only imagine how cool it would be to ski in and out! We enjoyed the fact each room had their own en suite bathroom.     January 2020, Jackie said….Truly ski in and out! Perfect setup for our families. Wonderfully easy to get to from Bozeman. So much to do and see near Big Sky! Pay attention to the trail names on way back down mountain- we weren't and it took us two tries to get home on Day 1! Don't cut it too close to lift closing! Oh well- more skiing adventure for us!

We went with 2 of our best friends, our son and his girlfriend, and the son (and his wife) of the friends who went with us. We loved the house, the fun movie room, and especially the ski in ski out aspect. Our son went to Montana State in Bozeman and used to snowboard at Big Sky regularly. He loved being back in the area and enjoying the great snow. One of his friends who works at Yellowstone Club came over for the day and rode with him. His other close friend from Livingston, who is a fishing guide, came over for the day and skied with us. The views from the house were spectacular and the snow was perfect. I can’t think of any improvements in the house we would recommend, although the mattress in the bedroom in the loft wasn’t comfortable...very squeaky. We would love to stay there again for another ski trip!

    December 2018 This is ski in ski out as advertised. We skied home for lunch each day and ended each day with a hot tub and movie in the theater room (converted garage and great use of space). The kitchen is ok but family area is nice with great views. We appreciated the 12 inches of snow on the first day as well:) Steve H.

    Annual Big Sky Trek!!

    We love staying at Cowboy Heaven! You literally walk onto the run. It is in an excellent place to enjoy both Big Sky and Moonlight Basin. It is walking distance to Moonlight Lodge for Apres Ski enjoyment. Great amenities. There is a great living space for gathering after skiing. The movie room is awesome. Would recommend all Russell Mace Vacation properties in all their locales!!!

    Fantastic Ski Home

    My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here with four other couples for a week. We had plenty of room and never ate out because cooking in the well-equipped kitchen was such an easy task. The views from the hot tub and living room are spectacular, especially on clear mornings when the Spanish Peaks are lit up with alpenglow. Skiing in and out is easy. Having a wall-mounted boot dryer in the mud room means everyone has warm, dry feet at the beginning of the day. We can't wait to return!

    Perfect Pow Pow!!!

    We arrived with the most perfect conditions! Fresh pow pow (aka powder)! We love this place because it is truly ski in-ski out. It has great access to Moonlight Basin and Big Sky Ski Resorts. My husband and I stayed with our large family, a total of 10 of us and felt very comfortable. Incredible views from all rooms, hot tub, theater room, and a very warm feeling throughout the home. We ate in breakfast and dinners at the home. We were surprised at how tricked out the kitchen was. Great boot/glove dryers, so everything stayed warm and dry. I would highly recommend staying here for a large family.

    Wow what an amazing trip! This cabin offered the perfect home base for extraordinary skiing by day and relaxation by night. The ski in/ski out access truly cannot be beat. After a long day on the slopes, we also enjoyed a dip in the hot tub or curling up to the latest movie in the cinema room. Staying here was truly a pleasure that I hope to repeat again soon. Would recommend this cabin to anyone!

    Wow, we had such a great time staying at this cabin! The location was perfect with ski in/ski out access from Big Sky. After a long day of skiing this cabin is filled to the brim with relaxing activities including a hot tub, movie theater, and multiple fireplaces to ensure a cozy night.     I highly recommend anyone to stay at this beautiful Big Sky vacation home. Staying at Cowboy Heaven where it is quiet, comfortable and clean with a very well coming environment. There was room to park our cars and houses central location on the mountain was truly awesome. Best vacation home. The service we received when making our reservations, all the way through to check out and follow up were truly remarkable. Forget staying in a hotel, when you can have incredible comfort and amenities beyond your own home. Location, location, location!!! The views and access were spectacular.     This is a great home in Big Sky if you want a large place in an ideal location. The furnishings in the home are very nice and everything was clean and in good working order.     We loved everything about the house - from the beautiful views to the ease of ski-in, ski-out. We didn't have to drive all week! The house is beautiful and well equipped. The hot tub is perfect after a long day of skiing! And when we had too much skiing - the theater was a wonderful escape!     The boot warmer was wonderful each morning as we skied right out the back door. The kitchen was well equipped to host a dinner every night for 10-14. The jacuzzi was clean and warm. Each bed and bathroom were private and comfortable. Great views out the living room window and bedrooms. Excellent internet service as I was able to Skype each night efficiently after a long day of skiing. I would give this a perfect, assuming your company was as good as mine. Recommended for: Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Families with Young Children

    Incredible Ski Vacation

    This home is awesome! Every morning we removed our boots from the boot warmer and skied out the back door for an adventure at Big Sky Mountain. Trails are well marked, perfectly groomed runs and great snow.The decor of the home is beyond any other vacation home we have rented. The theater room is a great escape from reality and the hot tub deck has a lovely view of the forest. It was fun to prepare meals as the kitchen had every appliance, cooking tool and dishware a chef could want. This home is comfortable and spacious for a large group and the mountain view is breathtaking. We had a very memorable time and will definitely return to Big Sky and request this home. Thanks again!

    Our Friends stayed in this wonderful home for 7 nights this winter. We have been to Big Sky before but this location and house made everything the best. The ski in ski out location of this house is fantastic. We had skiers of all levels and they were able to ski in and out of this home with no problems. The kitchen was perfect for keeping everyone feed. The Media room was a great place to relax and enjoy movie time. We had more than enough room for the 8 of us. We can’t wait to go back and enjoy the ski in ski out Home again.

    This home does perfectly the one thing that vacation homes should always do – be immediately inviting, ready to use, and welcoming without any fuss or intricacy! When my family arrived, we were able to pull right up to the door, unload into the foyer and settle in for vacation. No complex user manual or special requirements for climate controls or parking or gate access or garbage collection… If you stay at vacation rentals often, then you know just how complicated and stressful this kind of thing can be! Cowboy Heaven is so accommodating, and feels just like you are coming home to a place that is all ready for YOU where everything has already been taken care of. We absolutely LOVE this vacation home. From the incredible views, to the cleanliness and peace and quiet, to the convenience of having Moonlight Basin and Big Sky resort centers just down the road, this home made our stay in Big Sky perfect.

    This property was great for our group. There were ample bedrooms and the spacious family room was a perfect place to relax after a day of skiing. The internet and entertainment facilities were definitely a plus.

    This home is amazing. We had a great time. All we had to do to ski was pull our boots off the boot warmers and walk out the door and there was the ski run. The movie was excellent as they had a great collection of movies. The kitchen had everything we need to cook or make for our group. The views were spectacular. This place is a great deal. We loved this little slice of heaven.

    We stayed at Cowboy Heaven during the holidays and were amazed at the ease of everything! Ski in/out was fabulous access; the large well equiped kitchen/eating area was perfect for our family; and the hot tub was enjoyed by all! Beth and Buzz were wonderful at checking to see if all was going well during our stay and quick to help us in any way possible. We will definately return!

    Great Place to Moonlight Basin (Big Sky)

    Ellen did a great job of helping arrange our stay. The home was well stocked with cookware and linens. It was very clean and comfortable, and it was great that is was essentially 4 master bedrooms and loft space. The Jacuzzi worked well and well maintained. The movie room was an unexpected treat. Views from the balcony and hot tub were excellent. We took advantage of the activities around Big Sky and did rafting, ziplining, horseback riding, flyfishing,and archery. We also took several day trips to Yellowstone. The only things that were disappointing was the Yellowstone Club was not open during our stay, and the garbage pickup service did not occur during our stay. I contacted the number listed by the kitchen trash and it was outdated, so we ended up taking it ourselves to the trash/recycling center. Also the gas grill worked well, but had not been cleaned prior to our visit. I cleaned it after use to keep the bears out of the hottub :-). Not big deals but a little irritating.

    So glad we found this property. It was amazing and the skiing was unparalled. The hot tub was great after all that fresh powder. The home was nicely appointed, very relaxing, and even had a movie room. We plan on returning next year. Thanks RM Vacation Homes!

    This was a great house for our group of 10 adults. We were all very comfortable with our rooms and the loft with its own bath. Wonderful kitchen for the cooks. We got our use out of the hot tub and the theater room. We had unbelievable snow conditions and the ski in and out was excellent. We can not wait to get back here.

    What a wonderful way to spread Christmas cheer with our family! Couldn’t have been better! The house was great---very well equipped. We really enjoyed the hot tub, the fire place, the home theatre, and, more than anything, the wonderful location with magnificent views. Ski-in/ski-out was great, and we had a lot of snow which was also perfect! We really hope to be back. We truly love Moonlight Basin. It is such a special place! Many thanks for everything!

    What kind/size of bed do you have?

    (3) King beds, (2) Queen beds, and (1) twin

    Which ski run is next to the house? How far from the house?
    The Natawista Ski Run is right next to the house. From the house back door to ski run is about 50 feet….the area is groomed.

    Parking? Extra parking?
    You may park on the area in front of the home and in front of the garage. You cannot park in the garage. A maximum of 4 cars can park on the property.

    How far is it to restaurants?
    There are many restaurants to choose from in the village….about a 7 minute drive.

    Walking distance to the village?
    About a 7 minute drive to the village.

    How do the guests get in the house?
    A key is not required to get into the house; therefore, you will not have to check-in with anyone personally. There is a combination lock on the front door. We will send you a code with your rental agreement.

    Is there any extra fees?
    We normally require a $1,000.00 refundable security deposit that will be returned within 30 days of departure if no damages are incurred. There are no extra fees unless damage to the unit or excessive cleaning to be done. We will notify you and charge your credit card accordingly.

    Availability for early check-in or late check-out? Extra fee?
    We will try our best to work with your schedule but we might not be able to arrange early check-in or check-out if we have a turn over, please contact us for more detail. There is no extra fee for early check-in or late check-out.

    Is there WiFi? Where do I find the WiFi access code?
    Yes, there is WiFi in the house, and we will send you a password with your rental agreement.

    What type of BBQ grill do we have? How big is it?
    We have a small size gas BBQ grill with 4 burners.

    What is your refund policy?
    If your reservation is canceled up to 30 days prior to your arrival date, your deposit will be refunded to you less a $100 processing fee.

    Do we have to bring dishwasher soap or laundry soap?
    No, we have everything.

    Can we bring our pet?
    No pets allowed.

    Can we drop our luggage before check-in time?
    Yes, but please contact us first to verify.

    Do we have to rent a car?
    We highly recommend that you take a four-wheel drive vehicle during the winter months.  The roads to our homes are sometimes impassable without four-wheel drive.

    Is it possible to buy discounted lift tickets?
    The internet has the best bargains or you can purchase at www.bigskyresort.com.

    Is this house a NON-SMOKING house?
    Yes, this is a NON-SMOKING home.

    What is the check-in and check-out time?
    Our check-in time is after 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is 10:00 a.m.

    What is your Cleaning Service Policy?
    Cleaning service is provided before and after your stay.  Kitchen towels, bath towels, and bed linens are included in your stay.  There is a washer and dryer in the home for your use.

    Is the kitchen equipped?
    We have a very equipped kitchen; lots of cookware, knives, coffeemaker, toaster and spices.

    Mountain weather is variable and unpredictable. Resort conditions and ski access may be weather and snow dependent.
