    JACKSON, WYOMING

    Elevation: 6,237′

Jackson Hole is encompassed on all sides by mountain barriers. The hole – or valley – is 48 miles long and for the most part, six to eight miles wide, embracing an area of approximately 400 square miles. It lies a few miles west of the Continental Divide and occupies the central portion of the headwaters of the Snake River. Mountain streams converge radically toward it from the surrounding highlands, and the Snake River receives these as it flows through the valley.

With so many mountain ranges within a stone’s throw, Jackson Hole is a hub of outdoor recreation opportunity. Wildlife watching is easy here; elk, deer, and many other small mammals can be found throughout the valley. A plethora of bird species hangs in the valley throughout the year including various ducks, geese and even swans. As it is with mountain ranges, skiing is the major winter pastime and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Snow King and Grand Targhee all offer an excellent skiing experience and accommodations. The National Elk Refuge, northeast of the Town of Jackson, provides a home for thousands of elk each winter. The Town Square features arches made of shed antlers from the nearby National Elk Refuge. The National Museum of Wildlife Art has works by Andy Warhol and Georgia O’Keeffe. Visitors can take sleigh rides among the elk from mid-December through April.

    Perfect vacation! 5 STARS!

Our group of 12, ages 5-75, had the best vacation ever! The house size and layout was perfect! The stream behind the house entertained the kids for hours! Everything we needed was provided… kitchen and dining table were huge! Kids loved the media room. Easy walk to town! We are hoping to return again soon! Loved every minute!” ~Carol Pearson 7/15/23-7/22/23

Jackson Hole, Granite Ridge Home in Teton Village

“The house was large and spacious. We had several couples and everyone had enough room to spread out. Kitchen had plenty of items for cooking for large groups.” -Cheryl Davis February 1, 2023- February 6, 2023

Granite Ridge Home in Teton Village, Jackson Hole

“The house was clean and well taken care of. We had a group of 6 adults, 7 kids (cousins) and everyone had plenty of space. We appreciated the special Jackson Hole area treats that they left for us and messages to make sure that we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!” Traci Chu-- Date of arrival - July 24, 2022

As nice as the pictures of this home were

“As nice as the pictures of this home were, it was more impressive once we arrived. The ceiling heights and scale of the rooms were fantastic. The kitchen was very well appointed, large and can handle multiple people working on meals and for our group that made prep and cleanup easy. The location is, of course, phenomenal and given there aren't too many ski-in ski-out homes in Jackson hole, I'd highly recommend the convenience. One other point is most of the bedrooms do have their own bathroom. a huge plus. This is my third trip to Jackson Hole and all have been incredible and this home did not disappoint. The owner was also very responsive to answer any questions I had. A great experience all around!” Scott Kelly - Hampton Falls, NH Date of arrival - February 26, 2022

We have had a wonderful stay

We have had a wonderful stay at your home. It’s nicer in person than in the pictures. Love the high ceilings and vast kitchen. All went well and our group loved it. Especially the kids.—Scott Kelly

Ski-in, Ski-Out, Hot Tub, Granite Ridge Home in Teton Village

Very nice house in a good location. It was comfortable and had plenty of room for my family and friends. We very much enjoyed staying here. They only negative was that there is no air conditioning in the house, so we were instructed to open the windows overnight and in the early morning to cool the house for the day and to use fans to circulate the air. It was a little warm for us at bedtime due to this. I would still recommend the property and would stay there again. ~Elizabeth Crowe Date of arrival - August 27, 2021

"The property is very nice., very clean, great kitchen, wonderful location. The property manager sent up great direct, provided suggestions on restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, trips and places not to be missed in the Jackson Hole area. Also even provided us with a rollaway bed for a family member who has trouble with the stairs. Would definitely stay again." ~Cheryl Troxel

We Enjoyed Our Stay with you in Jackson Hole

We enjoyed our stay with you in Jackson Hole.  With 3 floors there  was room for everyone in our group of 13 to spread out. The teenagers really enjoyed the theater room. It was great that we actually had a table that would comfortably seat all of us for meals. The kitchen is fabulous. Also the location is perfect. The only problem we had was the heat. But we appreciated the fans that you provided. In the winter , skiing , this would be the perfect house. Would love to return to ski and enjoy those fireplaces. One person in our group had a problem with the stairs. But the rollaway bed you provided solved the problem. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Granite Ridge - Great Late Summer Vacation

September 2020 Granite Ridge - Great Late Summer Vacation Tom A. said…….We really enjoyed our stay at Granite Ridge. The house was wonderful. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The house was very large and well laid out. The kitchen was well stocked. The movie room was a lot of fun and the equipment worked well. The jacuzzi was also very nice after a long day of hiking. The location was great. We could walk to Teton Village for coffee and dinner. The Four Seasons is right next door with a nice bar and restaurant. The gondola is also close by and there were a number of great hiking trails to choose from. Teton National Park is a very short drive and Yellowstone is only about an hour away. We can't wait to bring the whole family back soon.

    The Stay was Great

Bill and Judy said…..The stay was great.  The house is great and very convenient to the main area lifts.  The housekeeping staff was very nice as was Sondra.  Being able to drop off our bags in the garage early was very helpful. The house was in good shape.  There was an issue with the oven and Sondra sent out a repairman while we were there. The only other issue was the speaker in the media room by the door.  It developed a buzz so we had to disconnect it.  I mentioned it to Sondra so she has likely addressed it already.  We did have to shovel a lot of snow off the deck (probably took 20 minutes) to access the hot tub and the grill.  If you are paying the snow removal crew to do that, you might want to have a chat with them about it. We really like the house and I am sure we will rent it again.  It’s very comfortable for 5 couples and, as always, well equipped for a group of people who enjoy preparing meals. Next year the group is going to Europe to ski.  As soon as the dates are confirmed, we will probably rent the small house in Big Sky for a week. And 2022 will probably see a return to the Jackson house or the large house in Big Sky.   All the best and thanks for a great stay!!

    Great place!

January/February 2020 - Granite Ridge Anthony C. said……Great place! We loved it with a few caveats. Be aware that the small Queen BR without window on first floor has no bathroom on that floor unless you share with other BR. The speakers in the media room are blown so the sound isn't great, and the projection bulb is dim. There is a short walk up hill between houses to the ski run which is not bad but not immediately on the slopes. The hot tub is comfortable for 4, max 5. One of the best things for skiers is a large drying rack for boots and clothing with forced air so everyone's boots and gloves are dry in the morning. Also, the kitchen is loaded with everything for cooking and serving lots of people. Overall a wonderful place I would return to. You responded on 02/04/2020 at 11:26 PM Thank you so much for the review Anthony! We rely on our guests to give us feedback on our homes. The owner has been alerted regarding the issues in the media room. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused to you and your guests. Regarding the ski run, you can ski from the side of the house down the back to catch the Teewinot tow rope and in addition take the short walk as you mentioned. I hope this helps for future trips. We would welcome you and your guests back anytime to our home.

Fantastic Except a Couple of Beds

August 2019 Karen said……Everything about this place was fantastic! (except the two bedrooms downstairs on either side of the hall had beds that were very uncomfortable. The bedroom at the end of the downstairs hall was fine tho and of the other bedrooms I heard no complaints about Beds).

    Vacation Stay

July/August 2019 Rita said…..This was a wonderful home for a family vacation. The property was beautiful and well kept. A very spacious kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for our stay. All bedrooms were large and well appointed. I would personally recommend this property.

    AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL!

    October, 2017

This is a beautiful home. My favorite part of the home was it had two master bedrooms each having a wonderful garden tub to soak in after a cold day in the snow. The hot tub was my daughter's favorite thing to relax in. The views are amazing and the house was stocked with necessities most vacation homes I have stayed in haven't had (playpen for the baby, robes, slippers, spices for the kitchen, WINE opener and glasses LOVE and much more). The owners were very nice and easy to deal with and I am excited to stay at another one of their homes in the future. This was our first time to Jackson Hole and it was quite a beautiful place and was happy to have a home that was this great. Definitely giving a 5-star review and will be back in the near future.

A great week in the Mountains!!

    July, 2016

Our group of 8 visited Jackson in July and had so much fun. This house is in a beautiful setting. The gourmet kitchen is so nice to have when cooking for large groups. It has everything. The large kitchen table is so nice. Everyone was able to eat together. It is walking distance to the Resorts Teton Village. We enjoyed being able to walk to there and enjoy live music and drinks with friends. We also took the afternoon and went to Grand Teton National Park for a beautiful hike. It is just a five minutes drive from the house. The kids enjoyed the movie room, which was so cool. It had a very large selection of movies already there. A very unique touch! I recommend this house to everyone looking for a nice and fun getaway.

Family fun and convenience- Perfect location

    January 16, 2016

Spent a week in this rental. It was perfect for us. Very close to fun in the village. Easy access to skiing. The home had everything we needed and was as advertised. Jackson is a skiers mountain- fit for all levels of skiing. The snow was awesome. The owners have wonderful homes as this is not our first time staying in one of there properties. We love the five step rule for ski in ski out. The living and dinner room are great for gatherings. We had some friends over and they were very envious of our accommodations. Can't wait to go back- Highly recommended!!! Recommended for: Families with Young Children, Sightseeing, Girls Getaway, Adventure Seekers, Age 55+, Romantic Getaway, Families with Teenagers

    Beautify equipped and great location

    January, 2016

Our party of 10 (6 adults, 4 kids) had a great stay in this home. We have stayed in many VRBO homes--this was the most well stocked home we have rented. The ski in ski out access is great. The photos are accurate--the home really is this nice and luxurious. The owners are good folks. The rental process (info exchange, contract, check in/out, deposit return) was reasonable and easy. The home is architecturally interesting and some of the owner's own art adorns the walls. The beds and bedding are high quality. The master is beautiful. The living room has beautiful, large windows that focus on the mountains. This home is in a quiet neighborhood--a huge advantage for us--so you will want a car, or prepare to rely cabs. The kitchen is very well equipped to cook just about anything--WOW! We strongly recommend this home. Recommended for: Families with Young Children, Sightseeing, Girls Getaway, Adventure Seekers, Age 55+, Romantic Getaway, Families with Teenagers

Wonderful way for our family to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary!

    July 18, 2015

Our family spent a week at the Russell home in Jackson Hole Teton Village. We loved the location, we could easily walk to many activities our children & grandchildren wanted to participate in. The house was well furnished and people checked on us during the week to see if we needed anything. It proved to be a perfect setting for our family to be together. We would definitely stay there again. The family must have cats because one of us had a reaction to the cat hair in the house. Perfect house for our reunion

    July, 2015

We just had to tell you how much we enjoyed staying at Granite Ridge Lodge at Teton Village last week. The house is beautiful and all the “extra touches” like the photographs were so nicely done. It was clean and we hope we left it in good shape. We all had a ball at our reunion. Thank you so much!

    We had a great time!

    July, 2015

The kitchen is fully stocked (which we appreciated, we had all 14 at the dinner table 3 times), great location, fireworks on the balcony, great management response, good restaurants nearby, all good!

    Best vacation ever

    March, 2015

We have been visiting Jackson since the late 90's. This year was definitely the best ever. Plenty of room, never crowded even with four generations of family. Great location and the beautiful house was well supplied with everything we needed for our stay. Perfect for large groups. Once the groceries were unloaded we only left the house to ski, sleigh ride, snowmobile and snowshoeing. It was great. Thanks owners!

Incredible place to play and relax

    February, 2015

I hosted my friends here and the house was perfect! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and the layout was convenient. Everything was labeled and instructions were clear, which made it as easy as home. We loved the fireplace--it was so handy having everything right there for us. The property feels secluded and private because of the orientation of the house. It was easy to get to and there is great ski in ski out access. Booking, Check in and checkout were simple. Jackson is absolutely beautiful and we will definitely be back! Recommended for: Sightseeing, Girls Getaway, Adventure Seekers, Age 55+, Romantic Getaway, Families with Teenagers

    Location Location Location!!!

    December, 2014

The location is perfect. This house was much more than we anticipated. No crowds to walk through to get to the slopes. We just skied right out the door to the slopes. This is a beautiful home. We did not want to leave. We had fun getting together in the well stocked movie room were the sound was awesome to go along with the big picture. The kitchen was often the place to hang out as it was well furnished. The place is well worth stay at. We are already planning our next visit. Thanks!!! Wonderful Christmas Vacation

    December, 2014

We had a wonderful Christmas vacation with 13 family members. The home was plenty big enough for us all to have our own space, but still be able to gather together in the den and eat together. The kitchen is very spacious and has anything you could possibly need. We were very close to the slopes and also to Teton Village. It was a great vacation and we would highly recommend the home!

It was tough to leave this beautiful home. The pictures do not do this home justice. The views and sense of home are hard to explain until you have been there. The amenities were all great. The whole family had a great time. Definitely a place to remember good times.

    Perfect location, spacious house

    September, 2014

The pictures really dont do this place justice. There is so much space for everyone! The whole process was seamless, and the key-less entry was great for such a big group. 5 of the bedrooms are big and with their own bathroom, the 6th bedroom is tiny and cramped and you have to use the main floor bathroom, but otherwise great. We were there in the summer and it is a short walk to the Four Seasons, where many of the wedding events were being held, which was super convenient. Nirvana in the Wyoming mountains

    August, 2014

Our group stayed for 7 nights this Summer. We have been to Jackson Hole before but this location and house made everything the best. The Teton Village location (in our opinion) cannot be beat!!! The house is fantastic- Kitchen well stocked with utensils Movie room- too many movies to choose. We had more than enough room and the deck and hot tub allowed us to spend many great nights outside!!! And wow, what an awesome view directly out on the Jackson Hole ski slopes. We had lots of wildlife visiting the area, as if we were in the nearby Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. We can’t wait to go back and enjoy the ski in ski out location. When considering an awesome venue for a family or group gathering, this world-class villa should truly be considered; I know we will be back!

    Absolutely Beautiful!

    July, 2014

Our extended family of twelve people, ages 13-72 yrs, really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. It was the ideal location for visiting both Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Teton Village was just a 5 minute walk away from the house. And the media room was the perfect spot to watch our whitewater rafting video after our trip down the Snake River. We would love to come back again!

This is a top-of-the line property that has great ski-in/ski-out access. The rooms are spacious and the main living room is extremely comfortable for not only couples but groups. The property is well-maintained, clean and inviting. And the apres ski amenities are simply unequalled.

    Great house and location!

    February, 2014

We had a great week in Jackson Hole at this beautiful home. The location is ideal, just steps from the slopes. The home has everything you need from kitchen supplies to a home theater for entertainment. It's lived in but well kept. We have rented a few different properties in the immediate area and this was our favorite.

    An amazing House

    February, 2014

This is our second rental from the Russell Mace Group (Big Sky was the other). They know how to put together first class accommodations. The home is very comfortable, spacious, and bright. One of the best parts was the kitchen which had every cooking amenity a chef would ask for (down to the fondue forks). The heated tile floors in the bathrooms are a great luxury. On our day off from skiing, we enjoyed watching movies in the theater. The house easily accommodated the 5 retired couples in our group. After a 30-yard walk down the driveway, the main base area is only 30 seconds away on skis where 3 high speed lifts are located to take you to all points on the mountain: the tram, a gondola, and a high speed quad. Minor maintenance items were addressed within hours by friendly and knowledgable service people. The base area of the mountain is a short walk from the house where you can find restaurants, bars, and stores (including a fairly small but well-stocked grocery). The town of Jackson is 12 miles away and is easy to reach by car or shuttle bus for some additional sightseeing and shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home and would recommend it if you're looking for a great place to stay at Teton Village.

We chose this house to celebrate our fiftieth anniversary with our three sons, their wives, and five grandchildren, and we couldn't have made a better choice. Our age range was 73 to 3 and everyone liked the house. The layout was great with bedrooms on the 1st and 3rd floors and the living/eating/entertaining on the second, so everyone could find a quiet retreat when needed. The kitchen was very well-equipped and having a bar sink and bar refrigerator in one corner of the living room helped control the traffic in the kitchen. The media room entertained the children, the hot tub was great for the adults, and the balconies enticed everyone, especially for views, fireworks, and watching hot air balloons and paragliding. I had thought we would miss curtains, but we didn't. The location of the house just two blocks from Teton Village made it possible for us to walk there for restaurants, shopping, the spa, the children's playground, the aerial tram, and the rock-climbing wall and trampolines. The bike riders in our group loved renting bikes in Teton Village and biking to Wilson, to and through the park, and to Jackson. We loved getting in the house by code rather than keys, much more convenient. The goodie trays the house manager Sandra brought were much appreciated. Altogether, this house made our 50th an occasion to remember forever. Recommended for: Families with Young Children, Sightseeing, Tourists without a Car, Adventure Seekers, Age 55+

Great place for a special family vacation

    June, 2013

My wife and I returned two weeks ago from this home where we celebrated our 50th anniversary with our 2 children and their families. We could not have chosen a better place. With 11 of us there was plenty of room. The large kitchen, great room, and dining table that seats 14 more than met our needs. The design of 3 bedrooms on the third floor and three on the first floor with the middle floor devoted to the common areas (kitchen, great room) is ideal. It comes with so many amenities that we were unable to take full advantage of them all - fireplaces, hot tub, home theater. It has ample storage for clothes and more. Electric outlets everywhere. If you are looking for a place to spend quality time with your family, you will find it here.

The beauty both inside his home and outside were just what we needed for our family reunion. With guests coming from all over the country this home met the challenge of accommodating everybody’s needs. The 12 of us were able to relax in the six bedrooms without ever feeling crowded. We loved having a theatre to watch ski movies in the evenings. We will be back as often as we can to visit this beautiful home. The location of this home is close to shopping and restaurants as well as perfect for skiing in and out. This is a real gem. February, 2013

The house is well equipped and we enjoyed the fireplace and well stocked kitchen. The bedrooms, especially downstairs need blinds on the windows and not just lace curtains - you cannot sleep in but especially feel exposed at night. Loved all the bathrooms!!! Great location, ski in and out and short walk to village:) Recommended for: Families with Young Children, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers

    Beautiful and Relaxing

    February 2, 2013

This house is a well-equipped home away from home. It easily accommodated the 14 of us. No problem stumbling out onto the slopes after a night of movies (in the house's theatre!) and hot tubbing. Why stay where you have to drag equipment half way across the mountain to go skiing? This was my first ski in, ski out experience, and I'm hooked! The other great part of this property is its proximity to Teton Village. No need to drive to dinner or other slope side activities. Just watch out for the pothole at the bottom of the hill! Great for Family Ski Trip

    February 2, 2013

This house is great for a big group! We had a family ski vacation this year and there were 11 of us. We had 7 adults and 4 children (ages 2-8). The bedrooms were very nice and all but one had their own full bathroom. there is a full bathroom on the main floor adjacent to ski room and family room. You never felt like you were "on top" of each other. The kitchen had EVERYTHING including a huge coffee pot (didn't have to make multiple pots in the AM), large roasting pans and anything else you could imagine. The house was a short walk to the Teewinot run (about 1-2 minutes). We had sunny skies every day so spent every apres ski at the Four Seasons. It was about a 5-7 minute walk from the Four Seasons back to the house. If you are carrying a bunch of kids equipment plus your own, the walk home up the mountain was a little difficult, but otherwise it is very easy. We loved the well equipped house and great kitchen! Great ski in ad ski out location. All the baths were wonderful and made accommodating many families easy:) The great room, fire place and hot tub were wonderful. We also enjoyed the home theater room. The only complaint we had were the lace curtains with no blinds on the windows, you can't darken the room during the day and feel exposed at night. Other than that this was a great house for our crew!!!

    Family Vacation

    June 30, 2012

Our family of 17 had a perfect week at Jackson Hole. He house was lovely, the kitchen was outstanding. The children especially loved the hot tub and the media room. We took a tour to Yellowstone, a 12 hour excursion, a Scenic Float on the Snake River, took in Jackson on the fourth of July and the rodeo that night. We hiked up in the mountains at Jenny Lake, toured, animal watched, rode the gondola at Snow King, and rode down the Alpine Slide, and rode the tram. We tried to do it all. The house was well represented in the photos, it was clean, located near to many good restaurants and some shopping. Everybody thought that the pizza at the Mangy Moose was the best they ever had. We ate in most nights, it was just easier with 17. Thanks for a wonderful vacation . The memories will go with us the rest of our lives. Most wonderful ski vacation I've ever had!

    February, 2012

Okay, I didn't actually ski while I was here, but this is a great place to kick back with my friends who do and don't ski. For one thing, Jackson Hole has tons of stuff to do for the non-skiers: snowmobiling, dogsledding, X-country, and snowshoeing if you want to be outdoors. And shopping, spa visits, museums and great restaurants if you're more into the apres ski scene. This house is great for couples or a large group because every room has its own private bathroom, and the house is roomy and quiet at night. There's an awesome media room for movies, but you have to decide who's in charge of selecting the movie in advance! But most important, it's a great house for groups because there's a great kitchen (best one I've ever seen in a rental!) that's perfect for group cooking and large group meals. I'm planning on bringing back a group of my college girlfriends for a week without husbands, kids or other obligations. Can't wait!

Immaculately maintained home, feels like the owners lived there and moved out for a week for us to use. Has everything you can think of to keep you comfy, even house slippers. I've had very few more enjoyable moments than sitting in the Jacuzzi, watching the snow fall and enjoying a glass of wine with friends after having spent the day skiing a world class resort. It is the best skiing I have ever experienced. The place is awesome. We stayed with 4 other couples and there was lots of room for everyone, very spacious and affordable. A cavernous living and dining room with cathedral ceilings. You will think you are close to heaven. The mountain is beautiful and would have been significantly better with a little powder and deeper base. 2010 was a light snow season. Better luck next time. It worked really well for us, and the people from Russell-Mace were very nice to deal with. One of our group, age 63, even went hang gliding! We enjoyed the house. Thank you!

    Our First Russell Mace Vacation

    February, 2009

This is a great house for a big group of skiers. There were about 12 of us, and it never felt crowded. The kitchen is big and well-equipped, there is plenty of warm sitting space, and it is only a short stumble to the slopes! The beds are very comfortable and the theater is a great place to unwind. There are some great restaurants within walking distance. Recommended for: Sightseeing, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Adventure Seekers, Families with Teenagers

What a fantastic ski vacation our family had! It snowed an incredible amount during the week and the conditions were epic! It was great renting a house that was truly ski in and ski out. We loved skiing into the home from Apres Vous after destroying our legs in the Hobacks at the end a most days. Given how hard we skied with the kids, my husband and I very much appreciated the spa, steam room and sauna throughout the week. Your home is truly huge, beautiful and amazing. A friend recommended that we stay at one of your ski properties, and we are so glad we did!! Now that we know what to expect, we look forward to booking another vacation next year at one of your Big Sky, Montana homes.

You can't ask for anything more, because it is already there! Including a fabulous kitchen with herbs too for cooking!
